If you require longer set-up time than 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, please make prior arrangements for set-up on May1, 2009.No Exceptions!. You must be checked in by 12:00pm on Friday. Please note that you must be completely set-up by 4:00pm on Friday. Hallway carpets will be vacuumed at 4:00pm. Show Doors Open to the public at 5:00pm. No one will be allowed to set-up after 4:00pm on Friday!
Registration and Exhibitor Badges:
You must be checked in by 12:00pm on Friday. Exhibitors badges can be picked up from the registration table. Maximum of 4 badges per exhibitor. If you require additional badges, they can be purchased at $5.00 each. Exhibitor badges must be worn at all times.
The following points are what is allowed and not allowed at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre. This facility has been gracious enough to host us and provide a really great space. Let's ensure to keep it that way. The regulations are as follows:
#1. TAPE - tape is not to be used on any walls or floors. If cords need to be secured for safety purposes then no tape other than duct tape must be used. No tape that leaves a residue or could potential remove paint is allowed in the facility.
#2. The Intention to post signs in the facility must be communicated to the Event Manager. All signs should be either free standing, on an easel or a sign stand. Signs can not be hung from the ceiling.
#3.Alcohol can not be served, consumed or sold without a permit. The Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre doesn't have a full standing liquor license and must apply for each permit.
#4. Vehicles of any kind (cars, trucks, fork lifts, bicycles etc) can not be driven on the field surface or the Alberta Building Trades Field without: a) Covering the surface with Plywood or other covering b.) First notifying the Events Manager
#5. Doors can not be propped open at any time as it creates a security risk
#8. Pyrotechnics, fire and the use of chemical solutions within Alberta Building Trades Field is not permitted.
#9. Keyano's Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre will not receive packages for external users unless a specific agreement has been reached. Special Arrangements must be made prior to May 15, 2009
#10. The lane behind the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre is not to be used for parking. Exhibitors can load and unload through the rear overhead door but must immediately move their vehicle following this. Any vehicles parked in the back fire lane will be towed.
#11. Parking for all exhibitors is $2.00 per day. We would ask that exhibitors park at the far end of the parking lot (Especially those with RV's and Trailers) as we want to leave as many spaces available for regular Sport & Wellness Centre members as possible.
#12. Absolutely no signage is to be taped or secured to any part of the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre without permission for the event manager. TAPE IS FORBIDDEN.
#13. Advanced notice is required for any items being shipped in advance to the Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre. Please note we will not be responsible for any items that are stored in our possession and all exhibitors ship them to us at their own risk. Please call or email Lilly to arrange.
Exhibitor Move-out Times:
No one is allowed to begin dismantling their booth until the show has been closed and the announcement has been made on the PA System. Anyone who dismantles their booth early will not be invited back for the fallshow.
Move-out Time: Sunday 5:00pm to 9:00pm
